The Blue Bunny will be hosting a wine and cheese reception at FableVision Studios on the top floor of Boston Children's Museum on Sunday afternoon, January 10th, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., to celebrate the winners of the Massachusetts 2015 Book Awards, while ALA (the American Library Association's Midwinter Meeting) is going on nearby at the Boston Convention Center. Paul and Peter Reynolds will be there (winners of the picture book category for "Going Places"), along with Katherine Howe, (winner for "Conversion" in the young adult category), January Gill O'Neil (winner of poetry category for "Misery Islands") and Scott Magoon (must read picture book winner for "Breathe"). The event will be a casual meet and greet and booksigning, and we know there will be many librarians, authors, agents and book-lovers in the neighborhood that afternoon, so we hope many will join us and celebrate the amazing Mass Book Award winners!
