"Understanding your Digital Footprint" Panel Discussion for parents and teens

A collaboration between the Dedham Police Department, local educators and community members, and The Blue Bunny Bookstore, as part of National Nite Out, the annual community-building campaign to promote police-community partnerships.  The panel will include Dedham Police Sergeant Connolly (the force’s cyber investigator),  local educator Rayna Freedman, as well as parents and students.  The discussion will focus on helping parents understand both the digital footprint that their child may be leaving if using social media, and the digital footprint that the parent is leaving of the child by posting pictures online.  Come join us for this informal community meeting designed to illuminate some of the nuances of social media use.  Appropriate for children ages 10 and up. Refreshments will be served.  All welcome.  FREE, but please rsvp so that we can plan accordingly.
