Chris Van Dusen, the illustrator of the popular Mercy Watson series  and many other popular books will be visiting The Blue Bunny to celebrate and read his new picture book A Piglet Named Mercy (written by Kate DiCamillo) - the instant New York Times bestseller!

Due to high-interest, this will be a ticketed event. The ticket price is $6.00 per attendee; Due to space constraints, tickets are required for each person who will be seated for the presentation (only children age 2 and under - on laps - are free).

  • Tickets guarantee reserved seating for the event, and

  • Preferred access to the book signing line. 

  • Your ticket may also be exchanged for $5 off the purchase of a book at the event.

Chris Van Dusen is the author and illustrator of several highly acclaimed picture books, including the hugely popular Mercy Watson series. His book, If I Built a Car won the 2006 E.B. White Read-Aloud Award presented by The Association of Bookesellers for Children.

Many of Chris Van Dusen’s books will be available for purchase at this event. He will sign any book purchased on-site at event.  Due to the expected number of guests, he will not be able to sign books brought from home.

Plan to arrive between early to purchase books before the event and get right in the signing line!  Names of ticket purchasers will be on a list at the venue door. Walk-in attendees will be accommodated space permitting - most likely standing room only.
